Harmelink Consulting was founded by Mirjam Harmelink in 2008. Mirjam Harmelink is an expert in the field of climate change, renewable energy and energy efficiency. She has been working in various positions in this field since 1993 and combines extensive topical expertise on energy and climate change policies with strong skills in human resource and project management. She has advised a large number of national and international clients in this field including the European Commission, national Ministries, European energy companies and NGOs.

Harmelink consulting works in close cooperation with other organisations as to provide clients with a complete range of services in a multitude of areas and to create synergies in terms of contents and capacity. Mirjam Harmelink is senior associate with , a strong international network of over 30 associates that all have committed themselves to delivering high quality, reliable, pragmatic and lasting solutions in sustainability. In addition, many other cooperations occur on an ad-hoc basis.

Mirjam Harmelink is member of the organizing committee on monitoring and evaluation of policies, the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy and the Dutch Network of Environmental Professionals .
